Chicago Tribune columnist Rex Huppke encourages his readers to unite for the second annual Insult-A-Columnist Holiday Food Drive. In a new column, Huppke visits the Harmony food pantry in North Lawndale, one of the Food Depository's partner agencies. "We can disagree on a multitude of issues, but making sure people in our communities have enough to eat is a basic act of human kindness around which we should be able to unite," Huppke writes. The Insult-A-Columnist Holiday Food Drive takes place online through December 31.
