FDA extends shelf life of some COVID tests

Please see the table for updated expiration date for covid tests

While the need to regularly test for COVID has decreased since the height of the pandemic, COVID testing remains an important intervention in stopping the spread of the COVID virus. The Food Depository regularly receives truckloads of COVID tests that we make available to partners on Agency Express. Some of these tests may appear expired, but the FDA has granted 11-month to 24-month shelf-life extensions on Siemens Healthineers CLINITEST Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Self-Tests.
