Why Dr. Pearce serves on the Board

I joined the board because the work of ending hunger and advancing human flourishing in our region is righteous, just, and holy work. Hunger is both a moral crisis and a strategic challenge–one that GCFD confronts with compassion, courage, and credibility. I’m honored to serve and hope to contribute my Chicago-rooted perspective, moral imagination, and systems-thinking lens to help move the mission forward.
