Immediate Past Board Chair
Marc Paulhus retired from Citizens Bank in 2021. He had been president of Citizens Asset Finance, Citizens Bank’s national equipment financing business from 2008 until his retirement and was a member of Citizens’ Executive Leadership Group. He joined the company in 2003. From 2014 to 2017, Marc, a native Rhode Islander, served as the President of Citizens Bank Rhode Island. Presently, he is a member of the board of directors of Delta Dental Rhode Island and Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance in California. Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Providence College and an MBA in finance from the University of Rhode Island.
Why Marc serves on the Board
Because of his direct experience as a beneficiary of the food stamp program as a child, Marc chose to serve on the Food Depository’s board and has volunteered in several repack sessions, attended lobby day in Springfield, as well as donor receptions and has written op-ed articles expressing his strong support for the mission.
