Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain
Javaun Price joined the Greater Chicago Food Depository as Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain in June 2025, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in food manufacturing, operations, and health and safety.
Prior to joining the Food Depository, Javaun served as Plant Manager at TreeHouse Foods' Chicago facility. His previous experience includes roles as Quality Assurance Manager at both TreeHouse Foods as well as Little Lady Foods. Throughout his tenure at TreeHouse Foods, Javaun led multi-site food safety initiatives that drove improvements across all key performance metrics. He has also served as a trainer in people leadership, food safety, and internal audits.
In his role at the Food Depository, Javaun oversees all aspects of operations and supply chain management, leading the Warehouse, Transportation, Safety and Facilities teams.
Outside of work, Javaun enjoys bicycling, barbecuing and spending time with his 14 nieces and nephews. He lives in Chicago with his wife and Bernedoodle puppy.

Javaun holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
