Amy Laboy

Vice President of Programs & Community Partnerships

Amy Laboy joined the Greater Chicago Food Depository in 2014 as the director of programs. In November 2021, she was promoted to vice president of programs and community partnerships. Amy is responsible for developing community programs, supporting and engaging partners, and overseeing workforce development.

Amy has more than 20 years of non-profit experience specifically in program design and implementation, community engagement, training, capacity building and fundraising. Prior to joining the Food Depository, she worked in disability services developing programming to promote skill-building and community engagement for adults with disabilities.

Amy was born and raised in Chicago.

Education

Amy received a B.A. in communications disorders from Valparaiso University as well as a Master of Science in therapeutic recreation from Indiana University.
