Useful Tips for Using SNAP Benefits to Buy Groceries Online

• SNAP benefits may only be used to purchase food items.
• SNAP benefits cannot be used to pay for delivery fees, driver tips or bag fees. Many stores will require you to have a credit or debit card on file in addition to your EBT card in order to cover fees.
• If you already have an account with one of the stores, be sure to update the form of payment to your Link EBT card.

ALDI

While Aldi does offer online shopping directly on its website, it currently only offers online shopping with EBT through Instacart.

Online Delivery (partnership with Instacart

• All orders must be at least $10 qualify for delivery.
• Delivery fees start at $7.99 for same-day orders over $35. Delivery fees vary for one-hour deliveries, club store deliveries, and deliveries under $35. You see the delivery fee when choosing your delivery window at checkout.
• Service fees vary and are subject to change based on factors like location and the number and types of items in your cart. You can view the service fee total on every order at checkout. The service fee isn’t a tip and doesn’t go to the shopper delivering your order.

Curbside Pick Up (partnership with Instacart)

• Pickup orders from certain retailers have a “pickup fee” (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders).
• Instacart pickup orders don’t have service fees.

Alpine Mobile (Kelley's Delivery and Curbside)

Kelley’s Delivery and Curbside at Alpine Mobil allows you to buy groceries online for delivery or pickup through a partnership with Vroom Delivery. If you have not previously shopped with Vroom Delivery you will need to set up an account to shop using Link.

Membership: There is no membership for Vroom Delivery, but you do need to sign up for a free account. While there is no membership fee, there is a fee for grocery delivery orders.

Membership: Amazon offers prime membership for $14.99 per month. Amazon prime members receive free shipping with no order minimum on eligible items. You do not need to be a member of Amazon Prime to participate or benefit from free shipping but you may have an order minimum. You will need to create an Amazon account if you do not already have one. There is no fee for creating an account.

Instacart offers online shopping in partnership with a large number of retailers throughout the state. Availability of grocery delivery or online pickup varies by store and delivery area. Membership: Instacart offers express membership for $99 per year. It provides free delivery for orders over $35 and reduced service fees. You do not need to be a member to order, but you will pay delivery fees.

• Some stores offer free pickup when you order a minimum amount.
