We believe food is the most basic need. It fuels hope and makes more possible. The need among those we serve is expanding, evolving. More older adults, people with disabilities and working families need help getting fresh, healthy food. So we must do more to address the root causes of hunger. The Food Depository is adapting to meet these changing needs every day.

We are reinvesting in the entirety of our mission: the journey to end hunger in our community for good. We are evolving our brand to express the entirety of our mission – to encompass all the ways we work every day to end hunger, providing food for those in need today while taking on the root causes of hunger.

Our Logo

Our logo takes inspiration from the two goals in our mission: providing food today and ending hunger for the future. The shapes of the new logo are organic and round. It brings to mind fresh produce, as well as the circles of collaborators who make our cause possible.

Our tagline sets the roadmap for our mission: From Hungry to Hopeful.


What’s Next

Our rebrand coincides with major upgrades to our facility and investments in our programs. We are preparing for the next phase in our journey to end hunger by engaging more volunteers, distributing more fresh fruits and vegetables, and growing our responses to address the root causes of hunger.
