Chicago Whole Foods Market stores are teaming up with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help fight hunger this winter. Shoppers can get involved by purchasing a Bag Hunger grocery tag to benefit the food bank, or by donating at the register in any amount—including rounding up the total on their purchase. Whole Foods also will be collecting nonperishable food donations in all six area stores.

The Bag Hunger program runs through Thursday, Jan. 12, with all food and fund donations directly benefiting the Food Depository. Cook County Whole Foods locations include:

• Halsted - 3640 N. Halsted
• Lakeview - 3300 N. Ashland Ave.
• Lincoln Park - 1550 N. Kingsbury
• Sauganash - 6020 N. Cicero Ave.
• South Loop - 1101 S. Canal St.
