37th Annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards

In a city renowned for its soaring architecture, premier commercial real estate firms gather annually to celebrate achievements — and to end hunger. The 37th Annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards bring together more than 1,800 of Chicago’s top architects, brokers, developers, property managers, contractors and design professionals to celebrate outstanding achievements in all facets of the commercial real estate industry and to support the Greater Chicago Food Depository. This partnership truly helps build a better Chicago. Last year’s event raised more than $1.1M to provide more than 3.3 million meals for our neighbors.

The Commercial Real Estate Awards will return to one of Chicago's premier event venues, the Salt Shed on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This fun-filled evening will feature networking, a cocktail reception, an award ceremony, and more.

  • Benefactor Supporter – $14,000 | 20 tickets
    • Voting block: 50 votes
  • Patron Supporter – $7,500 | 15 tickets
    • Voting block: 20 votes
  • Friend Supporter – $5,000 | 10 tickets 
    • Voting block: 10 votes
  • Individual Supporter – $550 | 1 ticket
    • Voting block: 1 vote

Voting Benefits

Each registration is entitled to one vote per category. This promotes inclusivity, fairness and an engaging experience for all our attendees. The voting blocks above show the value of each vote per award category for ticket packages.

  • Ticket bundle holders will vote on behalf of their attendees.
  • Finalist voting period: from March 7, 2025 to March 17, 2025.
  • To be eligible to vote, your registration and payment must be completed by Monday, March 17, 2025.
  • All votes will be recorded, and the results will be announced at the Commercial Real Estate Awards ceremony so you can see the impact of your votes.

Lunchbox Challenge

The Lunchbox Challenge raises funds to provide meals to thousands of our neighbors facing hunger. It’s a fun way to get your entire company involved in a great cause and a friendly industry competition. Frequently Asked Questions About the Commercial Real Estate Awards

Each registration is entitled to one vote – voting weights vary by registration type. Ticket package holders will cast one vote per category on behalf of their attendees.

  • Benefactor Supporter – Voting block: 50 votes
  • Patron Supporter – Voting block: 20 votes
  • Friend Supporter – Voting block: 10 votes
  • Individual Supporter – Voting block: 1 vote

If an individual purchases multiple individual registrations, each individual ticket holder is entitled to vote (e.g. 3 tickets = votes for 3 people, as opposed to the purchaser voting 3 times).

The voting period will be from Friday, March 7, 2025, to Monday, March 17, 2025. Please ensure you submit your votes during this period so they are included in the final tally. To be eligible to vote, your registration and payment must be completed by Monday, March 17, 2025. You will receive a link to vote after payment.

When registering, make sure to note what email address you wish to receive the voting link.

No, each individual attendee will receive one vote regardless of how many tickets they purchase.

If a registrant does not pay via credit card and requests a pledge reminder to fulfill payment via ACH/check/wire transfer, payment must be fulfilled by Monday, March 17, 2025, or a voting link will not be sent.

The Blue Ribbon Panel includes executive members from the Commercial Real Estate Awards Steering Committee, winners of the previous year's awards and selected local real estate representatives from municipalities, academia and/or businesses. The Blue Ribbon Panel selects awards finalists from all submitted nominations using a thorough review and voting process.

Using their industry knowledge and expertise, the Blue Ribbon Panel reviews the award submissions to determine which entries merit finalist status. The Panel then votes via secret ballot to select finalists for each award category.
