Chicago’s largest annual anti-hunger rally raises funds and awareness to end hunger. Hunger Walk takes place in Jackson Park and is two miles long. The event supports our network of soup kitchens, pantries, and shelters.
2020 Update
Due to the continued risk posed by COVID-19, the Food Depository will not be holding a Hunger Walk this year. To demonstrate our shared commitment to ending hunger, we are engaging partners in a new advocacy effort. We cannot solve hunger and its root causes – including poverty and racial inequity – if we don’t vote. Our network will focus on voter registration and preparedness for the 2020 general election.
