At the Food Depository, there is no higher priority than the safety of our volunteers, staff and the people we serve.
All volunteers, contractors and employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Volunteers will be asked for verbal confirmation of vaccination status. Masks are optional. We are still requiring volunteers to practice social distancing when volunteering. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us end hunger!
Keeping a clean facility and following best practices for food safety are part of our culture. Projects are set up to support social distancing and all volunteers are provided with gloves.
We ask volunteers who have experienced any symptoms of illness in the last 14 days to stay home. There will be many more volunteer opportunities in the future.
