Vice President of Operations
Sheila joined the Greater Chicago Food Depository in March 2014 as a senior director of operations. In June 2015, she was promoted to vice president of operations. Prior to joining the Food Depository full time, she was an active volunteer and member of the Food Depository’s board of directors since 2011.
In her current role as VP of operations, Sheila is responsible for leading the Food Depository’s new prepared meals facility. She is also responsible for maintaining and developing partnerships with the food industry.
Prior to joining the Food Depository, Sheila was VP of operations for Jewel-Osco, where she worked for more than 30 years in multiple roles of increasing responsibilities: store director, district manager, director of operations and area vice president. Additionally, she held positions in merchandising, human resources and marketing. Prior to Jewel-Osco, Sheila worked for the Internal Revenue Service as IRS agent.
Sheila received a B.A. in accounting from Loyola University in Chicago as well as M.B.A and J.D. degrees from DePaul University in Chicago.
Sheila and her husband Mike reside in Oak Lawn.
