Board Member
Sam Nandi is a leader within the local finance industry. He is a principal at Milliman Inc – where he has worked for more than 20 years – and currently serves as one of the co-leaders of its Financial Risk Management practice. His work focuses on helping life insurers and other financial institutions develop, implement and execute strategies to manage financial and market risks they face in the course of operating their businesses. Sam holds a M.S. degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He’s a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Why Sam serves on the board
I’ve been a supporter of the Greater Chicago Food Depository for many years, as a donor and volunteer. I have come to see firsthand what a great organization it is and the importance of the work it is doing. Joining the board allows me to extend my support by contributing my experience and perspectives to inform the Food Depository’s strategic direction. I’m honored to serve on such an amazing board.
