Cause-related marketing partnerships with the Food Depository provide an opportunity to raise awareness of hunger in our community while engaging your employees and consumers to help feed hungry people.

CAUSE-RELATED MARKETING EXAMPLES.

The support of our cause related marketing partners has been invaluable as the Food Depository's services have expanded to meet rising need in Cook County. Here are a few examples of cause related marketing activities.

ABC7: During the holiday season, ABC7 Chicago's Spirit of Giving campaign raises awareness of hunger in Chicago. ABC 7 airs reports highlighting the need and Food Depository member agencies.

Groupon: Groupon has partnered with the Greater Chicago Food Depository through Daily Deals on the Groupon Grassroots charitable site. All Chicago subscribers had the chance to donate $10 to help provide fresh produce to low-income families. To date, Groupon Grassroots has raised more than $28,000 for the Food Depository.

Whole Foods Market: In 2012, Chicago-area Whole Foods Markets named the Food Depository the beneficiary of their Feed 4 More campaign. Customers were given the opportunity to donate to the Food Depository at the register. In November and December 2014, the campaign raised more than $133,000 for the Food Depository.
