Take a stand against hunger. Let elected officials know that you support hunger-relief programs. The Greater Chicago Food Depository advocates for resources and policies that benefit member agency partners and help us stock our shelves for the nearly 678,000 men, women and children who turn to us each year.

Congress must pass a Child Nutrition bill before it expires in September!
It is more critical than ever that Congress works quickly to pass a fully funded Child Nutrition Reauthorization before the current law expires in September. Please urge Congress to pass this bill quickly and without cutting SNAP (food stamp) benefits.
Funding for child nutrition programs expires this month! Call your Representative today!
As Congress goes back into session this week, we need your help to urge members of the House to pass a fully funded Child Nutrition Reauthorization before the current law expires in September and to preserve funding for SNAP (Food Stamp) benefits.
Thank Gov. Quinn and state legislators for supporting the Commission to End Hunger Act
Last month, Gov. Quinn signed the Commission to End Hunger Act into law. We are extremely grateful Gov. Quinn and nearly all state legislators supported the creation of this Commission and we hope that you will join us in thanking them.
